Frequently asked questions

Is SchengenSlots free?
Yes. Viewing the board and creating email alerts is free. We may add optional paid features later, but alerts you already created will keep working.
Do I need an account?
No. You give an email address, confirm it once, and you can unsubscribe from any alert email with a single click.
How fast will I hear about a slot?
Alerts are sent as soon as our checks detect a matching slot, usually within minutes. Popular routes can still be taken before you reach the booking page, so we recommend acting immediately.
What is the difference between alerts and AutoBooking?
An alert emails you the moment a matching slot appears, and you book it yourself on the official site. With AutoBooking you submit your preferences once and our bot tries to secure the appointment for you, then emails you the confirmed date.
Do you need my visa account or passport details for AutoBooking?
We ask for the same details the visa centre form asks for — name, date of birth, nationality, passport number and validity, address and phone — so our bot can complete the booking for each applicant. We will never ask for your visa-portal username and password, and we never take payment for the appointment itself.
What happens if you can't get an appointment?
Nothing is charged and nothing happens automatically. Your request stays in the queue while our bot keeps trying, and you can see every attempt or cancel the request from the link in your email.
Which countries do you cover?
We track Schengen destinations for applicants in the United Kingdom, United States, United Arab Emirates and Ireland, and we keep adding visa centres.
Are you affiliated with an embassy or visa centre?
No. SchengenSlots is an independent availability tracker. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.
